Little Known Facts

I LOVE MY GIRLS! They are the cutest, sweetest, most precious things I've ever seen. They are also very entertaining. Here are a few little known facts about our little darlings.

Lucy loves to wear skirts. It is a battle every morning that I try to convince her to wear pants or shorts. This morning she told me it's because pants are too long, she likes to show off her tiny tanned legs apparently.

Megan still is taking time out as a rite of passage. Now that she is old enough, all I have to do is threaten time out and she happily goes, mostly smiling the whole time. We may need to think of a new punishment.

Lucy is very observant. No seriously, extremely observant. And she remembers EVERYTHING. Here are a few examples:
-All SUVs look the same to me. Seth and Caroline have a white Yukon. We passed a white Yukon on the Freeway and Lucy says, "That looks like Seth and Caroline's car, only that car has a sticker on the back. Seth and Caroline don't have a sticker on their car."
-One time after a very successful WalMart trip I tried to reward Lucy for her patience with a vending machine trinket. Unfotunately two of the machines ate my money and my sweetheart had to go unrewarded. Every time we pass the vending machine she always brings up how it ate my money and that we should try again sometime.
-She is always pointing out matches and things that look similar, then she will point out the difference if any.

Megan loves music. When she hears music she immediately starts to dance or conduct the music. You can imagine my excitement about this!

Lucy always has to sleep in covers no matter how hot it is.

Megan loves shoes. Whenever new people come to the house (more importantly, new shoes) we usually have to have a search party when it's time to leave because Megan has worn them into another room.

Lucy's favorite restaurant is Chick-fil-A. She calls it Chick-a-lay.

Megan can drink a capri-sun in one gulp.

They both love their daddy SOOOO MUCH! They can't ever get enough of him when he is home. Daddy gets very little snuggle-free time at home, he is always holding someone! And he's making room for one more!
