utah trip

This year we were a little pressed for time. One of the great perks of Adam's job is the amazing time off. However, they don't get the flexibility to take it whenever they want, with a few exceptions of course. So with me being grounded starting June 15th, Adam required to be in Phoenix from the 6-17 of June, and in Utah the 27-30, we had to take off pretty much the day school got out. We headed to Utah for 9 days and had a great time!

We started by going up the canyon. The water levels were crazy high, so I was a little nervous, but we came back in one piece and relatively dry.

These cuties hiked up to see the waterfall up close.

While I stayed at the bottom with David, Missy and this little cutie.

We checked out the Bean Museum. Carlie wanted to pet everything, while Lucy kept looking behind her to see if anything moved.

Visited a pet store, Carlie's favorite was the kitties and puppies.

Checked out the Dinosaur Museum, Adam played tour guide. We were all grateful, it turned a 10 minute visit into about 45, and that was just what we needed!

It took 6 kids to match the wing span of the Pteradactyl.

Foot comparison.

Loved the dinosaurs!

Go BYU!

My cousin and his wife opened up this new restaurant. If you're in the mood for crepes, this place is the best! Southwest Chicken Ranch was our favorite!

We had lots of movie nights.

Giant ice cream cones at Macy's.

And got to be there while these two were sealed. What an amazing experience that always is! This is another cousin and her new hubby.

While we were at the wedding David and Missy watched the girls, and this is what we found when we came back!

They also rode horses, held chickens, played on the swingset, played with the dogs, and found toys. They barely wanted us to take them home!

It was great to get one last trip in. By feet were about triple the normal size when we got home, but other than that, and a few stomach bugs, it was great. Now we just get to stay home and wait for the baby to come!
