It's been a crazy couple of weeks. In fact, that statement seems to be all too common around here. And I don't even have kids in school yet! But today is allowing me some breathing room, which I have chosen to share with all of you. Don't you feel lucky?

Our year long interview is in the last few months of the process. It has been better than we could have imagined. Really, it has! Adam is working very hard, getting up at 5:00 am to finish his lesson prep, leaving for seminary at 7:00 am, teaching until 10:30 am, then heading to job #2 until 4:00 pm, then home for dinner family time, then lesson prep again after the kids go to bed. That's on the nights he doesn't have lessons or visits for the ward.

I'm grateful for a husband determined to work so hard, doing his best to do what the Lord wants. And this year has been so good because we have that no-doubt feeling that this is what the Lord wants for us right now.

The process of hiring is the preparation classes- two of them- then a year of student teaching. During that year you have observations by a local director, and two from a Salt Lake director, a General Authority interview, a home visit, an eccliastical endorsement, monthly inservice meetings, and student surveys. The last week of April we'll find out if we have a job next year. Full time employment will start in May and soon after we'll find out exactly where we will be placed. We could go to Idaho, Utah, Arizona, or maybe California. Anywhere they have release time seminary.

We've had so many people looking out for us. Every month of this process we have had more food than we can fit in our kitchen, which is the one thing our budget doesn't seem to cover. What a blessing it is to have faithful friends who happen to "buy too much of this" or "clean out their food storage" or "can't take all this food on my move".

So for those of you who were wondering, the process isn't over yet, we don't know if or where we'll get a job, but trust that we are well fed and well taken care of. And thank you to all who have done the feeding and the taking care of!
