Well friends we arrived safely home from a fun and family-filled vacation. My dad's family had a reunion in Utah this last week so we decided to visit Adam's family as well since we were in the area. We were gone for 10 days, two days spent driving. And by the time we reached Flagstaff (3 hours from home) I was DONE! And the girls were pretty much done too. So here is my public apology to my patient and kind husband who held the family together the last leg of the trip. And a big thanks to Seth and Caroline for lending us their DVD player which added some much needed comic relief. Here are some highlights of our trip:

With my parents we took the girls to the zoo where Lucy informed me she would like to ride a striped horse, like a zebra. Thank goodness for the carousel which helped her get her wish.
Megan, on the other hand, changed her mind four times before finally deciding she wanted to ride the gorilla.
We also got to see the white alligator up close! Don't worry there was glass between him and the girls, but doesn't it look like Megan is going to kiss him?
We also visited Liberty Park in Salt Lake and the girls loved riding the rides.
At the Reiersen family reunion Lucy discovered the slip'n'slide and she loved it!
And my favorite part was visiting Temple Square.
Overall a great trip! And we get to go back in two weeks for David's wedding! Not excited about the driving, but we are so excited for Dave and Missy!

Hey Christine! I saw your blog off of Nandi's. You have the CUTEST girls ever! I think they look just like their mom! That's exciting that you guys are having another one. Congrats!

In response to my memory post, there are 2 memories of you that came straight to mind. The first: remember that time we stole your camera and took a picture of beast hanging chubbles with a rope from the ceiling and then put it all back so you wouldn't see it until you got your pictures developed? Yeah, that was AWESOME. And second: remember when we turned out all the lights, and set a girl up in the living room watching the fuzz station so you'd see it when you came back from rehearsal? and then we called the house phone the second you walked in so we could say "7 days" but you wouldn't answer it? ALSO AWESOME. :)
I LOVE the new picture of your girls at the temple. It is just precious! Sounds like a great trip, although I totally know what you mean about just being DONE by the end... it's all just so overwhelming sometimes... especially when you're pregnant. Glad you guys made it back safely... give David a HUGE hug from us! How exciting!
